Success Mantras that we can learn from Mr. Dell

Leadership, Leadership skills, Soft Skills, Software Development, Training

Successful people can carve stories by their sayings and their actions.

Michael Dell, who got his first computer when he was 15, quickly disassembled it to see how it works. His such conviction and clarity of purpose made him the youngest CEO of a company ranked in Fortune magazine’s list of the top 500 corporations.

Michael Dell has said some golden words that can teach us a lot about success. He says,

“Real entrepreneurs have what I call the three Ps (and, trust me, none of them stands for ‘permission’). Real entrepreneurs have a ‘passion’ for what they’re doing, a ‘problem’ that needs to be solved, and a ‘purpose’ that drives them forward.”

“People ask me all the time, ‘How can I become a successful entrepreneur?’ And I have to be honest: It’s one of my least favourite questions, because if you’re waiting for someone else’s advice to become an entrepreneur, chances are you’re not one.”

“You don’t have to be a genius or a visionary or even a college graduate to be successful. You just need a framework and a dream.”

“There are a lot of things that go into creating success. I don’t like to do just the things I like to do. I like to do things that cause the company to succeed. I don’t spend a lot of time doing my favourite activities.”

Based on his sayings mentioned above, we present the ‘Success Approach’ for every professional and entrepreneurs.

Step 1. Be Observant and identify the areas that needs some improvement or intervention. Be it your surroundings, your work area, your society or your country. Is there a problem that needs to be addressed?

Step 2. Now that the problem is visible, that is the areas that can bring forward the opportunities to create something new, innovate, initiate or perform your duty.

Step 3. Thus, you now have your purpose in front of you. Now is the time to carve your path.

Step 4. The purpose gives birth to the big dream. To present the solution in a big way.

Step 5. Others may have doubts about the dream, the solution. But the faith that will have on your dream will lead you to the path of success and glory. Here, it will be a test of your passion.

Step 6. Further, create the framework, the strategies, the processes.

Step 7. Now that the problem is visible, the solutions is clear, the procedures and the framework is developed, getting into it and working tirelessly will be the key to success.

This approach has been developed on studying the quotes given by Mr. Michael Dell. We would like to thank Mr. Michael Dell for sharing such great thoughts and showing the path to success.

Thank you.
